Our Baristas

Our Baristas make us great coffee drinks and help raise funds for the church. Stop by on Sunday mornings for a fabulous drink!

Bookstore Volunteers

Our Unity Bookstore is open Sundays from 8:30 to 1, Tuesdays & Thursdays from 10 to 3, and Wednesdays from 10 to 5. If you'd like to help out, please see Terri or contact the church office.

The Explorers - Spiritual Discovery & Support

Wednesdays 10 - 11:30 am. Everyone is invited to attend this prayer and discussion group. Join us for coffee and conversation! Facilitated by Clare.

The Outrageous Wild Women of Unity (OWWU)

The Spiritual Circles are at 10 am every fourth Saturday of the month (except retreat months & December). Our meetings are followed by a potluck lunch at noon. For more information about us or to arrange child care, please contact Joyce@swanlight.com.

Peace Team

Each year One Peace Many Paths sponsors a series of events during the 11 days of peace from September 11 to 21. Beginning in 2009, they will be doing events throughout the year. Please contact Joan Broeckling at selahcentered@hotmail.com if this group speaks to you.

A Course in Miracles Study Group

Every Tuesday at 7 pm this ongoing group welcomes everyone to join us at any time. By Love Offering.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

The Prayer Shawl Minsitry meets Wednesdays at 2 pm.

Meditation

Mondays at 12:15; Tuesdays from 8-8:45 am; Wednesdays at 10 am and then from 6:30-6:45 pm. We meet in the Chapel for a time of connection with spirit. Join Clare and Dennis.

Unity Choir

Our choir rehearsals are Thursdays at 7 pm in the Sanctuary. Stop by and check it out!

Unity Players

What is Unity Players? It is the church's very own theatre group! If you would like to be involved, we'd love to have you there. It's open to everyone. Performances in the past have included: Unity Home Companion (our variety show), Readers' Theatre, and full-length productions. No experience required, just the desire to have fun! Men of Unity

Engage in spiritual & personal growth, integrity, prayer & meditation through service, small groups, retreats, fun activities and more. Visit the Men of Unity display in the Sacred Service Center.

Next Generation Unity (NGU)

Welcome Team

The purpose of the Welcome Team is to assure that all newcomers and visitors to Unity Church are welcomed and have an opportunity to talk to someone from the church after the service and have their questions answered or be directed to someone who can answer them. All you need is a smile and a willingness to help make newcomers feel welcome to our church. If you'd like to volunteer in this way, please see Mary Christensen before or after the 9 am service or leave your name and phone number on the current Welcome Team list on the table in the Seva Center, and she will contact you.

Opportunities for Seva (Service)

Tool Sale! Clean out your garage and workshop! A tool sale to benefit the Kitchen Klub will take place in the Seva Center this month. We'll happily take your tired, unloved tools out of your crowded workspaces and find them a new home. All hand tools and power tools are welcome, as well as accessories (drill bits, blades, etc.), hardware, tarps, ropes, and storage bins.

Second Harvest Food Bank Collection: During the month of September, please bring non-perishable food items to add to our collection barrels here at church for Second Harvest Food Bank. You make a profound difference to families in need in our community!

Animal Shelter Drive Thank you for your generous donations last month. And, those animals waiting for a "forever home" thank you, too!!

SCRIP News: Make SCRIP a part of you summer travel plans and support our church through the Scrip Program. There are cards available for hotels, restaurants, and gas stations, as well as attractions such as Six Flags and Disney. Cards purchased through this program earn a percentage that goes to our general fund. Order on-line or in the Seva Center. Curious about SCRIP? Ask someone in the Seva Center. It is a great fundraiser for our ministry

Commit to Life leaders wanted: Sign up today if you are willing to host a small group in your home (or at church if space is available) during our fall series based on Byron Katie's The Work. You also might consider partnering with someone who provides their home. Training and an easy-to-use curriculum will be provided. These groups make a huge difference in people's lives and in the value our community receives from the fall Commit to Life series.

Mindful Mamas

Dances of Universal Peace

Crosswalk Dinner

Crosswalk is a multi-service center for street kids, homeless and high-risk youth ages 13-18. Sign up in the Seva Center. 5:30 pm.

Crystal Bowl Meditation

2nd & 4th Fridays at 7:00 pm. Meditation with drumming and pure tones of the bowls. $10 per session.

Metaphysical Research Society

2nd Tuesday of the month at 7 pm.

New Yoga Class at Unity
