"Humanity stands at a crossroads between horror and hope. In choosing hope, we must seed a new consciousness, a radically fresh approach to life drawing its inspiration from perennial spiritual and moral insights, intuition and experience. We call this new awareness Interspiritual, implying not the homogenization of religion, but the recovering of the shared mystic heart beating in the center of the world’s deepest spiritual traditions."

- Wayne Teasdale, The Mystic Heart

If you knew your prayers would make a difference and contribute to World Peace, would you pray?  Yes is the obvious answer!  We are providing an opportunity for you to make a difference.

Beginning at 6:00 a.m. Thursday, September 14 we will start our annual prayer vigil in the Chapel continuing on to midnight.  Please sign up for half hour prayer times in the atrium, or just come and stay as long as you would like.  Our goal is to have each prayer slot filled, so we know that we will have continuous coverage throughout the day.  Give yourself the gift of quiet time in consecrated intentional spiritual space created during the vigil which allows you to tune in more deeply to your inner sanctuary of peace thereby connecting us all in the consciousness of world peace.

On the same day, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. we will hold a meaningful Prayer Service with special singer and harpist, Alisa Gergwy.  During this service the names submitted on our prayer lists will be read, and we will experience affirmative prayers shared by our Prayer Center and Prayer Chaplains.  In addition we will have our annual candle light procession out to our prayer garden.  You won’t want to miss this special evening
